TenderWet 24 active: Your expert for wound cleansing

TenderWet 24 active is the name of the wound dressing for the cleansing stage of problematic wounds. The superabsorber of the wound dressing pad is already soaked with the optimum quantity of solution. Therefore activation before placement is not necessary. This makes handling much easier, saves time and precludes application errors at the outset.

TenderWet controls matrix metallo proteases in chronic wounds

TenderWet controls
matrix metallo prote-
ases in chronic wounds

TenderWet has been tried and tested in practice for many years and is an unbeatable product particularly in the wound cleansing phase. A team of scientists recently has proven that TenderWet can do even more:

It controls so-called matrix metallo proteases (MMP) which can delay wound healing. The MMP controlling functions allow absorption of the detested proteases into the product, which are then “removed” with each change of dressing. In this way TenderWet actively stimulates the growth of granulation tissue.

TenderWet active wound dressings cleanse problematic wounds safe, gentle and fast by means of their unique absorbing and rinsing effect. Over a 24-h period, the wound dressing pad continuously delivers Ringer's solution to the wound. Thus necroses are softened and detached, cell debris and toxins are taken up into the wound dressing and stored there safely – even in infected wounds. Germs are thus deprived of a condition for growth. The active cleansing process promotes the granulation, cells are able to migrate in, vessels regenerate and new tissue is built up.

Also during compression treatment, for example during the treatment of Ulcus cruris venosum (venous leg ulcer), TenderWet active is marked out by a very high absorption capability. The cavity version is ideally suited as primary wound dressing for packing deep defects or pocket formations.
TenderWet active is indicated for poorly-healing wounds with severe exudation, massive germ load and for chronic wounds of different geneses such as the diabetic foot syndrome, decubital ulcers or venous leg ulcers.
