For more than 10 years, HILMAS developed by HARTMANN has helped to provide optimised care and product provision for incontinent residents while keeping costs reasonable. The functions of the programme have been proven in the daily management of incontinence. HILMAS 5 has been newly developed and now runs online in the Internet for the first time. This brings about many advantages and makes HILMAS easy to apply in nursing homes.

Optimally supplied with products

The current aim at every type of incontinence management is to lower costs, uncover potential savings while still maintaining high quality care of each resident. There are a few steps to follow and HILMAS helps you to optimise the supply of absorbent products to each resident by means of a provision schedule. In this context, HILMAS also enables the entering of weighed data determined in the pad weight tests.

Costs easily made viewable

With HILMAS an exact overview of costs for incontinence management can be provided at any time. It also enables you to compare at a glance planned costs with the current costs or to compare costs before and after optimising the provision schedule on a graph or table.

Daily logistics simplified by demand schedules

Demand schedules of the current product demand help to provide the residents with the controlled and appropriate quantity of incontinence pads. HILMAS 5 also features new form sheets for entering stock quantities into the demand schedule to determine optimal ordering quantities and to avoid expensive over-provision per resident.

Ordering products made easy

Based on the demand entered into the provision schedule, HILMAS automatically suggests optimal ordering quantities and turns them into usable orders which are then sent online to HARTMANN. It is self understood that orders can also be sent by fax.

Accessible everywhere and always up to date

HILMAS no longer needs to be installed separately on a personal computer, it can be started directly on your web browser. This enables you to access stored data on every personal computer in all nursing home areas, e.g. the residents’ area, administration services or storage areas. Many basic data, such as. e.g. details about products, are always updated to the latest versions and available on the central HILMAS server. Thus, product data don’t need to be updated individually. Using HILMAS, you always have the correct data ready to hand and can avoid mistakes.

Data security

All data is optimally stored on the HILMAS server. The security of sensitive data and availability at any time are guaranteed by regular backups done in our modern data centre.

Better handling due to defined roles

We have applied a new role concept which allows to assign certain functions of HILMAS to each employee. This increases data security and makes HILMAS easier to apply, as only those menu items are visible the user needs for his work.
