Compression and Support Therapy has a wide area of indications: As immobilizing bandages they are indicated for the conservative treatment of fractures or for immobilization of areas of the body. As compressive bandages they are the basic treatment of chronically venous insufficiency. As so-called “functional“ bandages with compressive, supporting and relief functions, they are often the preferred treatment for injuries and damage to the skeletal and locomotor system.
