Schwenk becomes majority shareholder in HARTMANN

After a regrouping of shares within HARTMANN's shareholders in January 2008, the Schwenk Group, headquartered in Ulm, has become the majority shareholder of the HARTMANN GROUP. The company, which has held shares in HARTMANN for many years, has increased its shareholding to more than 50 percent.

HARTMANN expressly welcomes this development and sees it as an expression of confidence in the company's future viability.

"We are pleased with this development as it is very positive for our long-term stability and our ability to grow. Schwenk contributes in a significant way to the security of our company, and we will continue on HARTMANN's successful business course as we did in the past", says HARTMANN CEO Dr. Rinaldo Riguzzi.

The Schwenk Group is a leading manufacturer of building materials in the German market, operating in over 20 locations and looking back at 160 years of tradition. In addition to this, the Group holds shares in the metal and health industries.
