In various countries in Europe, the new blood pressure monitor from HARTMANN, Tensoval duo control, will soon be availabe to pharmacy customers. It is the first blood pressure monitor to incorporate the new innovative duo sensor technology.
It combines two advanced monitoring techniques: the oscillometric and the Korotkoff method. In contrast to most other automatic blood pressure monitors for self-use, Tensoval duo control primarily measures blood pressure using the very accurate and reliable Korotkoff method and displays the oscillometric measurement results only in exceptional cases.
Clinical tests have shown that this new technology is particularly suitable for persons with high blood pressure and various types of cardiac arrhythmias.
