In the workshops the participants were able to select wound dressings and to practice their proper application on their own.
The First International HARTMANN Wound Conference took place from november 29 to december 1 in the Communication Center of PAUL HARTMANN AG.
About 70 employees from HARTMANN subsidiaries around the world met at the conference to gather information on new products, to be trained in wound indications and product applications and to share information with their colleagues from Marketing, Development and Medical Training.
During the three day conference the focus was on conveying knowledge on a wide range of wound dressings, with participants being actively involved: Interactively designed instruments such as role plays, interviews, circuit training or application workshops helped expand the common knowledge base in an interesting way.
The participants were particularly impressed by workshops in which they were able to select wound dressings and to practice their proper application on their own. They were assisted in these practical exercises by trained nursing staff so that a dressing change was just about perfectly completed in each training team.
