HARTMANN holds its ground in an increasingly difficult market

With a rise of 1.8% the HARTMANN GROUP continued its organic sales growth in the first half of 2006, in particular in the medical core ranges. As a result of changes in the investment portfolio, sales revenues declined 2.5% to EUR 607.1 million compared to the first half of 2005. Despite further tightening of overall conditions in the health markets and increased raw material prices for crude oil based intermediate products, the operating net income improved slightly over the same period last year.
