About 2000 employees with their families and retired staff came to attend the opening of the new communication center on May 7, 2006.
Last summer, the management board of HARTMANN decided to create a center for dialog between customers, visitors and the public at the head office in Heidenheim. To that end, a former production site was converted into a communication center. On a total area of about 1300 m², new premises for conferences and medical training have been generated as well as a public forum which informs about the company, brand, and products of HARTMANN. The grand opening by Dr. Rinaldo Riguzzi, CEO, was on May 7, 2006.
About 2000 employees with their families and retired staff took the opportunity to have a look at the new premises. They all agreed with Dr. Riguzzi, who emphasized in his speech: "The conversion is a huge success. The administration building now forms an integrated whole with the former production hall. The new communication center is an attractive face of HARTMANN".
All information at the communication center's exhibition area is in English and German, giving national and international visitors an opportunity to inform themselves on the company's history, development and products. High attendance and positive feedback among employees at the opening shows that the communication center will serve its purpose in future: to encourage communication and dialog between people.
