While sales revenues as of March 31, 2006, were slightly down compared with the corresponding period of the prior year, the operating net income has improved, owing to strategic portfolio adjustments. The focus on the core business was successful: despite price pressure in the markets, HARTMANN was able to further strengthen its position in its three medical core segments.
