Free respiratory tract and keep clear by using the stable side position

Signs of unconsciousness:
The casualty no longer reacts when spoken to or touched.

In the event of respiratory arrest, resuscitation and eventual cardiac massage must be started immediately.

If the unconscious patient is breathing, lay him/her in a stable side position and then regularly check breathing and pulse.

Call the ambulance service at all events!
