Burns and scalds
Sources of danger for burns and scalds are often found at home.   

Hypothermia and frostbite
In the event of hypothermia or frostbite, the person affected needs to be warmed up as quickly as possible.   

Electricity accidents
Electricity accidents often happen at home through the careless use of electrical appliances.   

Chemical burns caused by household chemicals
If used incorrectly, detergents and cleaners used at home can cause chemical burns.   

Joint injuries: sprains / dislocations
Joint injuries are often sports injuries comprising sprains or dislocations.   

Fractures
Fractures need to be treated correctly. Therefore, if a first aider, always call a physician or emergency doctor.   

Foreign bodies in the wound / eye / windpipe / esophagus
If foreign bodies get into the body, this means there is an internal injury. A physician must be seen!
