Dr. Wolfgang Neumann, born in Hamburg 1963, was appointed Deputy Board Member for Solution Management (Marketing, Product Development, Business Development) of PAUL HARTMANN AG effective as of April 1, 2006. After his training as a Reserve Officer in the Air Force, Dr. Neumann studied Business Administration at Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich from 1986 to 1991 where he earned his doctorate in logistics controlling in 1994 as an external student.
From 1991 to 1994, Dr. Neumann worked freelance for Robert Bosch GmbH in Munich and then worked for five years in controlling at Procter & Gamble in Schwalbach. Subsequently in 2000, Dr. Neumann joined PAUL HARTMANN AG as Head of Materials Management. He became a Member of the Extended Executive Board and as a Project Manager was significantly involved in the restructuring of the company from mid-2004.
Following the restructuring of the company in November 2004, Dr. Neumann became Head of the Central Europe Region as well as of the newly established Solution Management which later was elevated to board level.
