2010-02-15HARTMANN acquires surgical set business in Australia

In the process of increased internationalization, the HARTMANN GROUP signed an agreement on February 12, 2010 for the acquisition of the surgical set business of Unomedical in Australia. The acquisition will become effective on April 30, 2010. With this acquisition, HARTMANN strengthens its Australian hospital business, thus expanding its presence on this continent in addition to its incontinence and wound care business. HARTMANN will acquire from Unomedical the production facilities in Mona Vale, a suburb of Sydney in southeast Australia, including 43 employees as well as customer relations and inventory.
